Day 1
Meet and greet at airport by our representative. Transfer to Benthota. Check in at hotel. The day is free for you to relax. Benthota is a coastal area 65Km south of Colombo. Well sought after destination especially for families. Safe swimming conditions combined with fun water sports and exciting excursions are available for a relaxed holiday on the beach.
Day 2
Day is Free for leisure. Benthota affords a myriad of opportunities to water sport enthusiasts to enjoy with swimming, body- surfing, driving and a range of water sports at the river and lagoon as well as along the Benthota beach.
Day 3
Visit to Galle a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is the most important town in the south and its fort area, with its mighty ramparts, encloses some wonderful examples of colonial architecture. A laid- back and enchanting place to wonder. Galle’s origin as a port go back well before the Portuguese. Ibn Batuta, the great Moroccan traveler, visited it in 1344. Through medieval ages, the Galle Fort emerged as Ceylon’s major southern international port attracting Chinese, Indian, Indonesian, Persian, and Roman and Arab traders. The unique Galle Fort is still the best preserved fortified city in South Asia. Check in to a hotel in Galle.
Day 4
Drive to Mirissa. Mirissa, with its beautiful wide stretch of golden sandy beaches will be a treat for your journey.
Day 5
You can relax at hotel or take an optional tour of Whale watching. Whale and dolphin watching tour in Mirissa is one of the most exciting water activities you can do in Sri Lanka during your holiday.In warm Indian ocean you can see Blue whales, Bryde´s whales, Sperm whales, Fin whales, sometimes Killer whales, and Common dolphins, Bottlenose dolphins, Spinner dolphins, Risso's dolphins and Striped dolphins.
Day 6
Drive to Colombo. Colombo is commercial capital, busy and vibrant with a mixture of modern life and colonial buildings. Visit the center of commerce and trading- the fort and pettah, and the cinnamon gardens area which is Colombo’s most fashionable residential address. And then visit the old Wolfendhal Dutch Church (built in 1749), Hindu temple, the famous Gangarama temple situated on the Beira Lake and the Devatagaha Mosque. Other highlights will be old and new parliaments, independence square and Galle Face Green.
Day 7
Transfer to Airport for your next destination.
