Online Terms & Conditions
The following general terms and conditions apply however to regional circumstances and regulations, contractual obligations to suppliers, and matters relating to location, product type and supply logistics may cause these to be varied slightly for specific products, or specific destinations. These amendments and alterations should be read in conjunction with the Terms and Conditions shown below.
- Travel arrangements and prices detailed on our website are provided and coordinated by Travel Star.
- Travel Star has taken due care and responsibility to verify and check all information on our website as at the time of compilation; however, as this information is supplied by the relevant accommodation & tour operators on our website, it accepts no responsibility for any inaccuracy contained therein.
- All arrangements for the provision of transport, accommodation, sightseeing and other services are made by Travel Star Holidays (hereinafter referred to as The Company) through appointed agents only. All vouchers, exchange orders receipts and contracts issued by The Company are subject to any and/or all tariffs and terms and conditions under which any accommodation, transportation and other services whatsoever are provided by hotels, transport companies, owners or contractors concerned. By acceptance of such Vouchers, exchange orders, receipts and contracts, the passenger deemed to have agreed to the foregoing:
- Every person participating in any tour organized by The Company shall be regarded as carrying his own risk with respect to loss or injury to person or property.
- The traveler accepts full responsibility for losses and expenses due to delay, sickness, weather, strikes, war, terrorism, quarantine or acts of God.
- The Company shall not be held responsible for the deportation or refusal of entry by immigration authorities of tour members resulting from improper travel documents, possession of unlawful items or irregularities that may be caused to person or property. Obtaining all proper travel documentation is the sole responsibility of the passengers.
- Neither The Company shall nor their employees or agents assisting or collaborating with them, is liable for any loss, injury, accident, damage, delay or expense which may arise in any way whatsoever during the tour. The Company is only an acting agent for the holiday components and will not be held responsible for any charges, acts of discretion or inconvenience caused by our suppliers and appointed agents.
- In no case shall The Company or their employees or agents be liable for any causes outside their reasonable control or from any act or omission of the customer.
- In no event shall the liability of The Company or their employees or agents in respect of any loss or damage other than death or personal injury exceed as an absolute maximum the price of the tour in question. The Company reserves the right to alter any route, itinerary and/or accommodation without prior notice to the passenger if it shall in its sole and absolute discretion think this fit or in case of force majeure.
- Travel Star does not accept responsibility for any change in prices or variation of services as shown, and all services and prices are subject to change without notice.
- It is essential that you check with us, for any changes or variations to the information shown on our website. This will allow us to advise you, of any such changes that we are aware of either before you book your holiday or prior to your departure.
Booking Terms & Conditions
- Bookings made less than 30 days prior to travel: Bookings made within 30 days of travel must make full payment at the time of booking,
- Direct payments to our bank account do not attract any fees.
- All Credit Card refunds will be less 3% as card companies keep the credit card fee.
- Cancellations must be in writing and should be addressed to the consultant handling the booking.
Cancelling a booking
If your travel plans change and you must cancel your booking please do so at the earliest possible time as many products have strict cancellation and refund policies and in some cases are non-refundable (refer to your booking Terms & Conditions for full details). If you do not cancel in advance you may also incur a “no-show” fee in addition to any other supplier fees charged.
If you wish to proceed with the cancellation, please call us on our hotline number and inform us immediately.

- Special Cancellation Conditions: Certain accommodation and tour products will apply additional cancellation charges.
- Change of Itinerary after Holiday has commenced: Any alteration or cancellation of services after your holiday has commenced can incur penalties. There is no refund for unused services.
- Refunds: In order for a refund to be approved, you must have a claim number which is given at the time of reporting the cancellation or incident. No refunds will be made for services once travel arrangements have commenced. No guarantee is provided or warranted that any refund will be available. All refund requests must be in writing, and made direct to us or through the agent from whom the travel arrangements were purchased. Claims must be made within 15 days of completion of travel arrangements. Refunds will not be made for bookings cancelled due to inclement weather or illness; these must be claimed through your travel Insurance.
- Reporting of Incidents: Any abnormal incidents including injuries, service problems, cancellation of a service or dissatisfaction must be reported to Travelstar during the event to allow us an opportunity to rectify the situation or provide assistance.
General Terms & Conditions
Validity of Rates: Prices are valid for the dates indicated.
Currency: All rates are quoted in US DOLLARS or as otherwise indicated.
Children’s Rates: Child costs are based on sharing a room with adults and using existing bedding. Cost for additional bedding and rollaway are available on request.
Payment Options: You can fax through or email your credit card details to us or make a direct deposit. Cards will incur 3 % additional bank charge
Travel Document: It is the passenger’s responsibility to obtain a passport valid for at least 6 months and visas ( if required ), for the country to be visited. Please consult your travel agent or local consulate/embassy on visa requirements. Our company cannot be held responsible or liable for any expenses, reimbursement or refund of tour prices if any passenger is refused entry by any country.
Travel Insurance: It is extremely important that you take a Travel Insurance. It is ESSENTIAL that this insurance covers you for involuntary cancellation of your holiday including airfare(s).
Accommodation: We reserve the right to offer alternative accommodation of a similar standard in the case the accommodation operator overbooks their property or for any reason beyond our control. All rates are subject to change without prior notice.
Accommodation Confirmations: Travelstar will try their best to confirm all accommodation requests, if for any reason a reservation is not accepted by the hotel we will do our best to provide you with a suitable alternate of the same standard and in the same location if possible.
Baggage: Baggage is limited to one suitcase and one handbag/trolley per person. Excess baggage may be transported by luggage vans to your hotel or airport, at an additional cost. This extra charge may be payable directly to the transfer person. It’s advisable that you mention if you have more luggages at the time of booking to provide a suitable vehicle for transfers.
Reconfirmations: A confirmed booking is not required to be reconfirmed by you. It is your responsibility to cancel all bookings that you do not need.
Amendments/Changes: Any amendments or changes to a booking should be made on our system or sent to us by E-mail. These changes will only be accepted by us if it is done by you. Changes will not be accepted if it is applied by other than the person/office that has done the original booking. If the booking is cancelled or amended direct with our suppliers you may still be liable for charges as per our contract with the suppliers. If the client manages to get a written authorization from the supplier that cancellation or amendment is accepted by them, and this is passed on to us within 15 working days of the application, we will get this credit from the supplier for further refund.
Check In / Check out Times: These vary according to operator. Generally your accommodation check in is 2:00 pm and check out is 12:00 pm. Please note that most properties will require a credit card authorization on check-in and may need to see photo identification. In the instance that you don’t have a credit card usually a cash bond will be required.

Group and Incentive Travel: More than 9 rooms request is considered as a group request. As group and conference rates are specially contracted rates specific for that particular group, they have different terms and conditions to standard holidays. If you are booking a group or incentive, please ensure that these conditions are explained to you.
Details: All maps, photographs, illustrations and computer based graphics are included for general purposes only and are not always indicative of the subject matter. Hotel room photographs (graphics) may not be specific to the actual room occupied. Maps are not to scale.
Activities:All Sightseeing, Tours, and Transfers can only be purchased in conjunction with accommodation. Any service that has been booked will automatically be cancelled if the Accommodation is cancelled.
Quotations: All quotations are subject to availability and are not guaranteed until the payment is made to confirm the booking.

The images used in this website are found from different sources all over the Internet, and are assumed to be in public domain and are displayed under the fair use principle. Inclusions and exclusions
PRICES INCLUDES: Accommodation, transfers, tours/cruises, car hire, government taxes and any other inclusions as specified in writing on the relevant quotes.
PRICES DO NOT INCLUDE : Any costs incurred en route to and from the destination, meals (unless specified), alcoholic beverages, telephone calls, items of a personal nature, and personal services not specified as being included in costs on the relevant Itinerary under includes section. Rates do not include entry tickets to Attractions, Museums, Photo or video charges unless mentioned specifically in the itinerary, as this must be paid direct to the operators.
PRICES VARIATION: All prices are guaranteed at the time of quote. Travelstar reserves the right to vary prices at any time as a result of changes in fairs and special events periods or, when currency fluctuates in excess of 3%. We will only increase the price on a confirmed booking if a change in tax is forced on us by the government or supplier.

Passports & Visas
Please ensure you have a passport valid for the duration of your trip. (Some destinations require your passport be valid for a certain length of time; in general, 6 months after completion of travel). You may also be required to obtain a visa for some destinations (including for transit points) and it is your responsibility to do so prior to travel.
When requesting for a booking you must ensure that your name (and the name of any person(s) for whom you are making a booking) matches exactly the name as it appears in your (or the person(s) for whom you are making the booking’s) passport.
If you require any further information on passport or visa requirements, please contact our local office or the embassy of the country to which you will be traveling.
A failure to travel with the correct documentation could result in the passenger being refused travel, entry to the country of their destination or stop-over or transit point, deportation or incarceration and in such circumstance(s) you will be solely responsible for any cost, loss or damage which you or we (or our agents or servants) incur. We accept no responsibility for customers who do not possess the correct documents and Visas.
Use of Credit Card
Please make sure that you have supplied us with the correct credit card billing information. If you do not supply the correct credit or debit card billing address and/or cardholder information, the issue of your tickets may be delayed and the overall cost may increase. We do reserve the right to cancel the booking after issue if payment is declined or if you have supplied incorrect credit card information.
In addition, we also reserve the right to do random checks in order to minimise credit card fraud. As a result of this, before issuing tickets we may require you to provide us with a fax or postal copy of proof of address, as well as a copy of your credit card and your passport copy. Cards are subject to 3% bank charge.
Modification of Terms
We may change these terms and conditions at any time without advance notice. Changed terms will become effective once posted on the Web Site, and will not have any retrospective effect on existing contractual arrangements made through this Web Site. Your continued use of this Web Site after any change means you have accepted the changed terms and conditions.
Entire Agreement
These terms and conditions and any other legal notices, policies and guidelines of Travelstar linked to these terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Travelstar relating to your use of this Web Site and supersede any prior understandings or agreements (whether oral or written), claims, representations, and understandings of the parties regarding such subject matter and the terms and conditions may not be amended or modified except by making such amendments or modifications available on this Web Site.
